Clammer Hammer began in 2015 from an object originally made by Michael Stickrod with his son Oskar during a visit to Fishers Island. Cast in bronze that year and welded in 2019, the work was completed in 2025 as a functioning fountain mounted on carved sandstone for the exhibition Art-in-the-Garden at The Lighthouse Works, Fishers Island, NY.
